Two Perfect Riding Days!

Well, a couple of weekends ago I had two perfect riding days. The weather man said no. . .but yet they were perfect.  Friday, we rode out with Cowboy Dave and a new friend who bought her horse because my horse Doc, a Missouri Foxtrotter, and I bought mine because of Snip (also a Foxtrotter).  The place is out in Red Rock and strangely, they will give you back your money if you don’t like the horse (very rare).  At any rate, her horse bucks if he is behind and we “gait out” a lot.  Other than that, we had four beautiful horses, all gaited.

Then, Saturday we rode out at Silver Saddle Ranch. . .fab place, run by BLM and just east of Carson City.  We had six horses, two flasks, very bad peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (it was dry peanut butter and the jelly was canned by me and very runny), some very hot jalapeno chips and my cantaloupe was still green.  Yep, one of our best rides.   My best, Renee
