The Reno Aces. . .Everyone is Excited!
For the past couple of weeks it seems all anyone can talk about is the Reno Aces. I know my husband and I can’t wait to spend an afternoon enjoying America’s favorite past time. Unfortunately we couldn’t attend the opening game, as it was sold out, but we already have plans to attend 3 other games this summer. Plus we have a lot friends with season tickets that have offered up some of their seats, so who knows we could head to Reno at the last minute. And if we can’t find season tickets to borrow from friends, we’ll just buy tickets. They are so cheap! They range from $7 to $25 with the $7 tickets giving you access to a grassy area where you can throw down a blanket and bring a picnic…to be honest that almost sounds better than sitting up in the crowded stands! The first game we are going to is Memorial Day weekend. We have a bunch of friends all going together and plan to tailgate, watch the game and then stay the night in Reno. In my book, that’s one of the best ways to spend a weekend.
It’s nice to have something in the community to rally around and judging by the buzz in the air and the excitement I hear all around, I’m not the only that thinks so! Melanie Stewart, Schwartz-Stanton Group
